Guest Presenter: Tamaé Memole

Tamaé Memole M.Ed is the Director of the Resilience Leadership and Learning Institute at Prevent
Child Abuse NY. Her 25-year career has included teaching preschool Special Education,
strength-based curriculum development and training, program design, and state and
national policy work on strategies to strengthen families.

Conference attendees will learn about the science behind hope, epigenetics and the
“resilience gene”, and elements for building a trauma-responsive organizational culture.
