April 1st is WEAR BLUE Day to support Positive Childhood Experiences for all children!!
Join the Cortland County District Attorney’s Office and the Child Advocacy Center in front of the Courthouse on Thursday, April 1st at 1pm where 202 pinwheels will be planted and listen as D.A. Perfetti kicks off Child Abuse Prevention Month. The pinwheels are a visual reminder of the number of children and families we have served at our Center in the past year. This community event is a great way to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month and remind everyone that we all can help make great childhoods happen.
If you are unable to attend this event, be sure to take a photo wearing blue and tag us on our Friends of the Cortland County CAC Facebook page using these hashtags: #WearBlueDay2021, #GrowingBetterTogether, #OneTooManyNY.
Pinwheel Gardens are still on sale $20 for 10 pinwheels available at:
60 Central Ave, Door “D4”, next to the Main Entrance – M-F from 9am-4pm.
